The Indianapolis Colts unsurprisingly fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, 30-10, bringing their record to 3-9 and officially eliminating them from contention in the AFC South.

- For the first time in several weeks, rookie running back Marlon Mack led the Colts’ backfield in snaps over Frank Gore. At one point, Gore looked like he was in some pain on the sideline, so perhaps that explains it. However, he did return shortly after that. There have been a few other weeks where Mack led the running backs in snaps.
-
Chester Rogers saw the second-most snaps at wide receiver. This will be interesting to keep an eye on, as Moncrief is due to hit free agency in 2018 and they may be looking for an expanded role for Rogers.
- For the second consecutive week, Jason Vander Laan saw no action on offense. The Colts typically give third tight end Darrell Daniels a handful of snaps, but with him out with a hamstring injury and Vander Laan filling in, they have not replaced Daniels’ normal role on offense.
- Starting center Mike Person left the game briefly with a leg injury, but returned. Anthony Fabiano came into the game in Person’s absence.
- Overall, 18 players saw offensive snaps.

- Starting cornerback Pierre Desir left the game with a shoulder injury and did not return. Both Kenny Moore and Quincy Wilson filled in for Desir. It was the first time since Week 2 that we’ve seen Wilson.
-
Clayton Geathers played in his second game this season, increasing his snaps from four last week to 16 on Sunday.
- The starters along the defensive line continue to see increased snaps with the injuries to Henry Anderson and Hassan Ridgeway. Johnathan Hankins especially continues to play more often than a 325-pound defensive tackle probably should.
-
Tarell Basham played a few more snaps than normal, leading to a slight decrease in snaps for John Simon. Basham made it count, however, getting his first career strip-sack.
- Overall, 20 players saw defensive snaps.
