The Indianapolis Colts have released their injury report for Wednesday, the opening day of practice for the week:
Starting wide receiver Donte Moncrief was seen in a walking boot this week because of an ankle injury. Head coach Chuck Pagano declared him day-to-day.
According to George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin, starting center Ryan Kelly is still in the concussion protocol but was a non-contact participant in practice today. Him being back is good news considering his backup, Mike Person, is dealing with an ankle issue.
Starting cornerback Rashaan Melvin injured his hand against the Tennessee Titans two weeks ago while making an interception. If he returns anytime soon, he will likely be sporting a club on his hand.
Rotational defensive lineman Hassan Ridgeway (shoulder) returning to practice is a big deal, as Johnathan Hankins and Al Woods have seen increased snaps because of Ridgeway and Henry Anderson’s absence. Hankins (chest) now carries an injury designation as well.
The Colts have had awful luck with hamstring injuries in 2017, third tight end Darrell Daniels currently being plagued by one. He hasn’t played in the last two weeks.
