The Indianapolis Colts finally kicked off their training camp in front of thousands of fans inside Lucas Oil Stadium Sunday. With Sunday being one of only two open practices to the public, it was a very anticipated day to say the least.
I brought Kevin Bowen, from Colts.com, onto the show to relay what he saw from the team in their first day on the job in 2017. Kevin and I discussed the interesting shifting amongst the offensive line personnel, and why we felt this movement could be happening.
We also spoke about which first-year player(s) looked impressive, what the inside linebacker rotation looked and what surprised us about it. The cornerback unit is one of the more interesting camp competitions of the summer and we take a look at where some of them were lining up and how they performed in their first day of camp.
Matt and Kevin look through much more including how a recent addition to the tight end unit may affect the position’s battle, as well as a brief look at the receiver’s depth chart. Don’t miss this, the first of many conversations on the Colts’ training camp with plenty more around the corner in the coming days.
