Something the Indianapolis Colts have always been great about doing is giving back to the community, especially to youngsters in need. The team often has players taking part in benefits such as caroling at Riley Hospital for Children each December, the Bleed Blue Blood Drive as well as working with the United Way each year in a variety of ways.
New, veteran and even former Colts’ players have been taking part in these activities and some even have foundations of their own. Later this month second-year linebacker Antonio Morrison will get into the act as well. Morrison will be hosting the Medexpress Strikes for Kids Indy Bowling Classic which benefits local children through various organizations throughout the Indianapolis community.
Morrison will be bowling and handing out backpacks filled with school supplies in order to help children get off to a great start to the upcoming school year. Want to go? Here’s what you need to know.
