NFL: Detroit Lions at Indianapolis Colts Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

Okay Colts fans, the moment you have been waiting for is nearly at hand. Real football or at least a decent imitation of it is upon us as your Indianapolis Colts face the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

While there are a fair number of injuries that will further limit playing time for starters, this will be a time to check out some of those position battles at the bottom of the depth chart to see which players might carve out a spot for themselves on the final 53-man roster.

I know preseason games can be frustrating to some, but they are a vast improvement over the absence of football over these long summer months and are the signal that we are not far from games that matter.

To get prepared for the game here is some information you need to know:

Game Time

1:30 PM EDT Sunday, August 13th

Lucas Oil Stadium - Indianapolis, IN

TV Channel

Fox – Don Fischer and Rick Venturi with the call

NFL Network
