Colts v Lions 2017 Preseason Week 1 Open Thread 2nd Half

Lions lead 17-3.

The long wait is finally over! ... sort of ... Today the Colts take the field against the Detroit Lions in Lucas Oil Stadium. Do not expect to get a close look at the team that will be taking the field in the regular season for either franchise. Any veteran with a hang nail will likely sit out the first contest and take the time off to heal.

Colts players likely to sit out include: QB Andrew Luck, C Ryan Kelly, G Joe Haeg, G Denzelle Good, TE Erik Swoope, WR Phillip Dorsett, RB Marlon Mack, RB Josh Ferguson, LB Jon Bostic, LB Antonio Morrison, LB Garrett Sickels, CB Rashaan Melvin, CB Christopher Milton, S Clayton Geathers among other starters who might use the day to rest.
