The waiting is almost over. The final preseason game is nearly upon us, and that means we are just around the corner from meaningful football games.
Week 4 of the preseason will be hard for many of us to watch, because it typically serves as an opportunity for guys to make that last impression on coaches, or put some film on tape in hopes of getting themselves jobs elsewhere once they are inevitably cut.
For the Colts, this game might be a bit higher stakes. Given the number of injuries across the offensive line and in the defensive backfield, cuts are going to be especially tough, with guys who the Colts might like to keep fighting to prove they deserve a spot. It might not be pretty, but it could teach us a lot.
