The Indianapolis Colts finally got their first win of the season on Sunday, topping the Cleveland Browns, 31-28. It was a total team effort to get the Colts there, as their currently banged-up squad had to use more players than usual to get the job done.

NOTES:
- Again, the Colts had all five offensive linemen, their quarterback and their tight end (it matters, he plays some snaps in-line) play 100% of the snaps. That is two weeks in a row.
- The coaches appear to have made their point to Donte Moncrief. Last week, he played 10 fewer snaps than Kamar Aiken, and Aiken got the start over Moncrief this week. Aiken did leave the game with a concussion but Moncrief ended up filling his familiar WR2 role.
- The running back snaps continue to fluctuate, big-time, the only constant being that Frank Gore is the starter. In Week 1, Gore saw 38% of the snaps, Marlon Mack 34% and Robert Turbin 28%. Week 2 was Gore 45%, Turbin 39% and Mack 15%. Now, Week 3, Gore 62%, Turbin 32% and Matt Jones 8% (Mack was out with injury).
- Even though Jack Doyle is the only returning component, the Colts have been using three tight ends pretty steadily. Doyle played 92% in Week 1, and 100% each of the last two weeks. Brandon Williams played 38% in Week 1, 18% in Week 2 and 24% in Week 3. Rookie undrafted free agent Darell Daniels is creeping up, however. He played 26% in Week 1, 21% in Week 2 and 26% in Week 3.
- Overall, 17 players saw offensive snaps.

NOTES:
- Newcomer Pierre Desir was inactive last week but started at corner in place of injured rookie Quincy Wilson. He saw the second-most defensive snaps along with fellow starting corner Rashaan Melvin.
- It would be nice to see rookie edge defender Tarell Basham get some more snaps, but at the same time, starters John Simon and Jabaal Sheard are playing at a high level. It is allowing for a patient approach to Basham’s development.
- For the second week in a row, T.J. Green has basically only played special teams and almost no defense after starting at corner in Week 1.
- Overall, 20 players saw defensive snaps.
