The Colts are starting their season without their best player as Andrew Luck continues to rehab his shoulder. It appears that the Rams may be missing their best player as well when week one rolls around.
While the #Rams have their 1st game-week practice today, star DT Aaron Donald is home on the East Coast. Both sides tried. No deal as of now

Ian Rapoport reported this morning that Aaron Donald is in Pittsburgh working out at his alma mater rather than in Los Angeles with the team preparing for Sunday’s game against the Colts. Donald is in the midst of a holdout that has lasted longer than most had expected and that could stand to benefit the Colts.
Donald had 8 sacks and forced 2 fumbles last season and has been one of the most dominant defenders in football up there with J.J. Watt since entering the league. The Colts patchwork offensive line and running game will definitely benefit from his absence, and the longer he is away from the facility, the higher likelihood that he will miss week one.
Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips will still have a solid defense to work with and knows the Colts well so we can expect him to give them as much as they can handle, but not having one of their most dangerous weapons is something that can only help the Colts.
The Colts have released their video connected with their selected theme of #ColtsForged. Here it is:
Family. Hard work. Respect. In Indiana, we know what it takes to earn it. And for all those who don’t know? They’re about to.#ColtsForged pic.twitter.com/nVFOnszq20
