Colts Cast: Sizing Up the Los Angeles Rams, Colts to Watch Week 1

New, comments

We’re two days out from finally watching an Indianapolis Colts regular season game, and first up is the Los Angeles Rams.

Today I go through the Rams top players to keep an eye on, and look into how despite the fact that Aaron Donald likely isn’t playing, that the Rams will still put an opportunistic defense on the field and Jared Goff may surprise us all after working with Sean McVay.

I also run through the Colts offensive and defensive players who I am most excited, intrigued to see play. I look at what I want to see from Quincy Wilson, Nate Hairston, Henry Anderson and Johnathan Hankins just to name a few.

Additionally, I go into what Donte Moncrief needs to do to help the Colts offense succeed this season, especially while Andrew Luck is out and I dig in to how important it could be for Denzelle Good to excel at right tackle for the offense.

How well has this coaching staff prepared Scott Tolzien and the rest of the roster? How can Rob Chudzinski smooth out the offense? What is needed from the Colts tight ends? All of these questions and more are answered on today’s Colts Cast.
