The Colts’ 2018 opponents have a combined 2017 winning percentage of .485. The website, Prediction Machine, states the Colts have the fourth-easiest strength of schedule in 2018 based on their opponents’ 2017 win percentage. The Colts had the easiest strength of schedule going into the 2017 season.
The Colts, of course have their six combined AFC South games with the Texans (2), Jaguars (2) and Titans (2).
The league rotation calls for the Colts to play the AFC East (Bills, Dolphins, Patriots, Jets) and NFC East (Cowboys, Giants, Eagles, Redskins) in 2018. That means the Colts will face the Patriots for the first time again since 2015.
The Bengals (AFC North) and Raiders (AFC West) finished third in their respective divisions as did the Colts, which is why they were matched up.
Keep an eye out later in the year for the official schedule to be announced.
