Report: Colts to Interview Josh McDaniels Thursday

The Colts look to kick off their coaching interviews as early as this Thursday when they will interview in-demand Patriots OC Josh McDaniels for their head coaching position. The Colts needed to move quickly to get the interview completed this week while New England is on their bye heading into the playoffs.

McDaniels is a much sought after coaching prospect and will likely take his time weighing his options before making a decision about where to go. His first head coaching job with the Broncos was a miserable failure, and he won’t want to mess up this opportunity.

While many Colts fans won’t be sold on McDaniels no matter what, if he were able to put together the right staff to surround himself with, he represents a formidable offensive mind that could maximize what Andrew Luck brings to the table and push this team forward into the future.
