Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton and Houston Texans cornerback Johnathan Joseph were each fined $12,154 for their scuffle during Week 17 in which both threw hands multiple times. This, according to Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle.

The two players had obviously gotten into each other’s heads during the game, as Joseph continued to jaw at Hilton and the Colts’ sideline throughout the game. The officiating crew had to pull him aside on more than one occasion.
The Colts won the game, 22-13, but Hilton caught just 3-of-6 targets for 14 yards.
This dust-up was somewhat reminiscent of when Cincinnati Bengals receiver A.J. Green attacked Jacksonville Jaguars corner Jalen Ramsey earlier this season after Ramsey was in Green’s ear all game, calling him “soft” and “weak”. Both players were ejected from the game in that scenario. Green was later fined $42,000 for the incident.
