It appears as though Chiefs’ offensive coordinator Matt Nagy will be the next coaching candidate to come off the market. Ian Rapoport reports that the Bears are in negotiations with him to become their next head coach.

Despite a crushing loss in the first round to the Titans, there was a noticeable increase the offense’s productivity for the Chiefs over the last part of the season after he took over play calling from Andy Reid. While many speculated that the Chiefs’ performance might impact Nagy’s job prospects, that does not seem to have been the case, as Matt Danely predicted.
Nagy’s removal from the board narrows down the list of candidates for the Colts and with many predicting that Josh McDaniels had narrowed his interests down to the Colts or Bears, may leave him as the main option to take over the Colts coaching job. Keep checking back often this week for updates on what promises to be an interesting week for Colts fans.
