They have waived 5’9”, 205lb RB Jeremy McNichols, who was signed to the practice squad in September and activated last week. He had 2 carries totaling 4 yards in the Colts’ week three loss to Houston. McNichols was a 5th round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and has spent time on the 49ers roster as well before landing with the Colts.
Additionally they have signed Jonathan Williams to the practice squad. Williams, a 6’0” 223lb running back was the Buffalo Bills’ 5th round pick in 2016 and played in 11 games for the Bills before being released in 2017. He was signed to the Broncos’ practice squad and then was signed to play for the Saints and played in 3 games during the 2017 season.
The Colts have until 4:30pm ET to activate Robert Turbin to the active roster, per Andrew Walker.
We will continue to provide updates as they are made available.
