A former Indianapolis Colt is reuniting with a former General Manager of the Colts.
T.J. Green tweeted Tuesday night that he has signed a deal with the Seattle Seahawks. The deal comes as no surprise with Earl Thomas finding himself on injured reserve after breaking his leg against the Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks also had try outs from Eddie Pleasant and defensive end Hau’oli Kikaha.
Honored to be a #SEAHAWK

Another reason Green could wind up in Seattle is because of the fact former Colts General Manager Ryan Grigson works in the front office. Grigson, who was the GM in Indianapolis for five seasons, was hired by the Seahawks this past June. Grigson is a former Executive of the Year and compiled a 49-31 regular-season record during his time in Indy.
Green was drafted by Grigson in the second round (No. 57) during the 2016 NFL Draft. While Green’s time with the Colts was cut short, he finished with 88 tackles and three passes defended
Green was given an injury settlement and released off injured reserve by Chris Ballard and the Colts back in September because of a hamstring issue.
