The Colts travel to Grudenland to face the Raiders in week 8 before getting a bye week to heal and recover before their assault on the back half of their schedule. The Raiders have systematically traded away their key players in a pretty clear attempt to stock up on picks and kick start a rebuild in the 2019 season.
Jon Gruden is behaving like a guy with a 10-year guaranteed contract, and that may or may not pay long term dividends. In the short term, it provides a team with little in the way of a pass rush, the loss of one of their best passing targets, and no real rushing attack after placing Marshawn Lynch on IR.
