Fantasy Football: Start and Sit matchups for Week 5 of the season

Sit: Tyreek Hill (Chiefs) and Sterling Shepard (Giants)

In a Kansas City offense with numerous weapons, Hill is only garnering eight targets a game this season. The Jaguars secondary unit, led by Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Boyue, are allowing a just 183 passing yards a game. On the other side with Shepard, Shepard came through in a highly favorable matchup last week, but Eli Manning isn’t having the greatest outing of his career, which will allow a Jets defense — a unit allowing the fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers this season — to potentially have a big day.

Start: Dede Westbrook, Jaguars

Westbrook is coming off a performance of 130 yards against the New York Jets, a matchup in which he saw 13 targets. With Marquise Lee gone for the season, Westbrook is clearly one of Blake Bortles’ go-to receivers, setting up a prime performance against a Kansas City Chief defense that is giving up 7.9 yards per attempt thus far.

Start: T.J. Yeldon, Jaguars

Yeldon is in prime position to have a big week. It seems like Leonard Fournette, the former No. 4 overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, is never going to put together a full slate of 16 games, and that’s okay for a Jacksonville team that can use other backs until the playoffs. 2018 might be a lost year for Fournette, fantasy wise, due to several hamstring issues. The good news for Yeldonowners is that the former Alabama running back has the chance to assume the role as the lead back behind Blake Bortles. One week ago, Yeldon eclipsed 100 yards from scrimmage, scoring a touchdown on the ground and through the air.
