Of the eight DNPs from Wednesday’s practice, six — safety Clayton Geathers (knee), tight end Ryan Hewitt (ankle), running back Marlon Mack (not injury related), cornerback Chris Milton (not injury related), safety Mike Mitchell (calf) and linebacker Anthony Walker (neck) — returned to participate on Thursday. Geathers, Mack, Milton and Walker were fully engaged, while Hewitt and Mitchell were limited.
Four Colts were inactive on Thursday: Safety Malik Hooker (hip), tight end Erik Swoope (knee), cornerback Nate Hairston (ankle) and tackle Le’Raven Clark (not injury related). Hooker and Swoope also missed practice on Wednesday, not the most hopeful sign for their availability this Sunday. Hairston was limited in action on Wednesday before not suiting up earlier today.
Guard Quenton Nelson, who appeared on the injury report for the first time on Wednesday with back problems, was still a full participant in both reports this week. Same with defensive end Kemoko Turay, who has battled neck issues through a portion of the season. Cornerback D.J. Killings, who was promoted to the active roster on Tuesday, was limited with an ankle injury.
