The Indianapolis Colts continue their heavy divisional schedule in the second half of the season with a Week 11 matchup with the Tennessee Titans this Sunday. There are some interesting matchups within this AFC South battle, including the Colts’ 6th ranked scoring offense going up against the league-leading Titans defense who are only giving up 16.8 points per game.
However, the Titans offense sits at 28th in the league in scoring (18.7 ppg), while the Colts defense is 26th in the league allowing 26.6 points per game. We’re technically looking at strength on strength, and each team’s weaknesses squaring off against each other as well.
The Colts have a lot on the line in this one. They’re either going to hit .500 for the first time this season since Week 2 and leap right into contention for the division, or they’re going to take a major hit to their postseason hopes and fall to 4-6.
The Titans were as good as they’ve been on both sides of the ball last week against the New England Patriots, and today, Matt Danely goes through what he saw, how the Colts might be able to exploit some of these matchups on each side of the ball, and where the Colts can’t afford to struggle this weekend.
Additionally, Matt will touch on the Colts last two day’s injury reports and some very interesting news including a new addition to the practice squad that could turn into something more if things go right.
