The Indianapolis Colts added to their tight end group with an addition on Wednesday evening.
The Colts announced they signed tight end Clive Walford for the remainder of the season, a move that was forced to be made due to the fact Jack Doyle will not return because of a kidney injury.
Walford — who stands at 6-4 to go along with 250 pounds — has appeared in 44 career games (10 of which were starts) in three seasons (2015-17) with the Oakland Raiders, adding 70 receptions for 768 yards and six touchdowns. During the 2015 NFL Draft, Walford was selected by the Raiders in the third round (68th overall).
Walford saw his brief stint with the New York Jets end after he was cut on September 1.
