Colts Wednesday Injury Report: Kelly and Alie-Cox return, four DNP

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Oakland Raiders Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The Indianapolis Colts have released their injury report for Wednesday, their first of the week as they get ready to travel to host the NFC East-leading Dallas Cowboys.

The biggest news of the day was the return of both center Ryan Kelly (knee) and tight end Mo Alie-Cox (calf), who’ve missed action either leading up to or during the Colts’ Week 12 win against the Miami Dolphins. Alie-Cox was hurt during practice, and Kelly was injured late in the game. Both were limited on Wednesday, but should be working toward a return to live action for the game against Dallas or eased in toward Week 16.

While the return was the bright news of the day, four Colts — safety Clayton Geathers (knee), guard Mark Glowinski (ankle), wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (ankle) and safety Mike Mitchell (calf) — didn’t participate in practice. Geathers and Hilton were held out of Wednesday’s practice last week as well, but both played against Houston. Mitchell, however, missed practice all last week and was held out of Sunday’s contest as a result.

Malik Hooker was limited with a lingering hip injury, and wide receiver Dontrelle Inman was a full participant but listed with a shoulder injury. Inman didn’t play last week.

Defensive lineman Margus Hunt (knee) was limited on Wednesday. Last week, the 5-sack tackle missed Wednesday and Thursday, was limited on Friday and listed as questionable before playing against Houston.
