The Indianapolis Colts have quickly become one of the NFL’s hottest teams over the past couple months. They now find themselves in the thick of the AFC playoff hunt, but they’ll first have to prove that they can take care of a team that they absolutely should handle at home.

As they head into their Week 16 matchup with the New York Giants, the Colts are a bit nicked up yet again. Safety Clayton Geathers and linebacker Anthony Walker — two defenders who’ve been large parts of their recent success — were already listed as OUT with knee, and shoulder issues respectively.

Aside from these two, Mark Glowinski will again sit as well as a result of his ankle injury, however, T.Y. Hilton will be active today after being listed as questionable and only participating in Friday’s practice as a limited participant.

Additionally, with Zach Pascal and Dontrelle Inman have recovered enough to remain in the lineup which will keep rookie WR Daurice Fountain inactive after being brought up to the active roster in recent weeks.

As for the Giants, they’ve got some real injury issues as well. They enter Week 16 with four being previously listed as OUT including Odell Beckham Jr. and Alec Ogletree.

In terms of the game, this is good news for the Colts as they hope to take care of business, and find a way to earn themselves a WIld Card berth. One less weapon for a declining Eli Manning is a good thing, but the Colts will have to find a way to limit Saquon Barkley with a big piece of the middle of their defense on the shelf.
