The end of the regular season is here already. Last year at this time we were waiting to see what direction this franchise would take as the front office geared up to clean house and replace the coaching staff. This time around, we’re waiting with different expectations.
With just one game to go, the Colts head to Nashville to challenge the Tennessee Titans for a chance to continue into the postseason. By the time their game kicks off, both teams will know the full stakes that game holds. A Texans loss today to the Jaguars would make it a win to take the AFC South Title. A loss? The opportunity to watch from home.
The weather report for this game calls for temperatures around 51 degrees and a good chance for rain which picks up during the latter part of the game. This could turn sloppy and so a solid start from both the offensive and defensive units of the Colts will be important.
Since week their loss to the Jaguars, the Colts have been in playoff mode. Going 1-0 each week has been a commonly echoed mantra. Now it is time to put that mentality to the test yet again.
