The Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans are set to have their win-and-in opportunity to get themselves into the playoffs. The Colts have won 8 of their last 9 games and the Titans have come out on top in their last 4 matchups.
With the AFC South already decided with the Houston Texans’ win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, it’s the Wild Card or nothing for these two in Nashville this evening.
It was announced that Marcus Mariota was expected to be sidelined for this all important game between divisional foes, and that within itself is going to be a problem for the Titans. The Colts’ cannot go into this one taking their opponents lightly, though.
For the Colts, Daurice Fountain and Ryan Kelly were the only two who had been ruled out before today. However, the Colts did have 7 players listed as questionable heading into today’s game, including Clayton Geathers and T.Y. Hilton who did not practice at all this week. Geathers will not dress, and Jalen Collins — who the Colts just brought up from the practice squad — will not either.
The Titans’, on the other hand, only had Brian Orakpo listed as questionable before today’s game. The Colts’ injury concerns have continued to plague them throughout weeks heading into games, but they have largely been healthy come game day.
