Colts Sign Former Redskins Receiver Ryan Grant: 1 Year, $5M

The Indianapolis Colts will be signing former Washington Redskins wide receiver Ryan Grant.

The Indianapolis Colts may be adding another pass catcher to their roster today in the form of Ryan Grant:

After failing his physical with the Baltimore Ravens, where he was set to sign for a four-year $29 million contract, Grant was thrust back into the free agent market.

General manager Chris Ballard and his front office quickly set up a meeting with Grant this past Saturday, and after visiting with the Oakland Raiders, seems to have come to an agreement with the blue and white.

The 27-year-old Grant was drafted in the fifth round by Washington in 2014, with his best statistical season coming in 2017 in the form of 45 passes for 573 yards and 4 touchdowns.

He will be joining T.Y. Hilton and Chester Rogers in the wide receivers room in Indianapolis and will look to bolster a unit that is in desperate need of some stability.
