Thursday night the NFL released each team’s 2018 schedule and somewhat contrary to years past, the Indianapolis Colts won’t have one of the league’s easier roads. Today, Stephen Reed joins Matt Danely to look at the Colts’ opponents, if their bye week is beneficial to their season as well as how the first and second halves of their season differ.
The Colts will play 15 of their games against teams who have at least earned a playoff berth in the past 3 seasons, and will be matched up against some very good regular season quarterbacks in the first part of the year.
Matt and Stephen discuss their way too early projections for the Colts based on their schedule pre-draft, and though they start out completely differently, the two nearly end up with the same record projection.
The two also touch on Dwight Freeney’s retirement announcement and attempt to figure out if Chris Ballard will display an iconic pose towards the cameras invading the Colts’ war room.
