The first round of the 2018 NFL Draft is now in the books and the Indianapolis Colts have landed, arguably, the best player in the draft. Quenton Nelson will be fighting the positional value argument right off the bat, but if he keeps Andrew Luck clean and healthy, most naysayers will quickly allow that complaint to fade.
On today’s show, Stephen Reed, Andrew Aziz and Chris Blystone join Matt Danely to discuss and react to the Colts first-round pick and how it came about. They go through the importance of adding a stud interior lineman to the roster who can step in and take over, and discuss some of Chris Ballard’s comments on him following the pick.
The guys also get into how the remainder of the first round worked itself out, and conjure up some of the best remaining talent left on the board as the Colts stand to get themselves a couple of great additions at picks 36 and 37.
