In the fifth round with the 169th overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts have selected running back Jordan Wilkins out of Ole Miss.
The Colts started off Day 3 by selecting fellow running back Nyheim Hines in the fourth round at No. 104 overall. After now making this pick and already having Marlon Mack, Robert Turbin and Matt Jones on the roster, it looks like this may very well be a running back by committee approach to the backfield this year.
Lance Zierlein of NFL.com describes Wilkins (6-1, 216) as a fairly balanced back with the potential to start at some point.
