The only draft picks left yet to sign are second round picks LB Darius Leonard (2-36) and OG Braden Smith (2-37). The two were picked back-to-back in the second round — perhaps there is something related to that which is tying up the process.
The Colts’ rookies are in town this weekend for their very first rookie minicamp. The players got in yesterday to get fitted for equipment, take photos, probably take physicals and any other logistics to be taken care of before starting workouts in the weight room and on the field.
We’ll update you once Leonard and Smith sign, which should be soon considering everyone is now in the building.
