Colts Cast: Takeaways From OTAs; Luck’s Situation Not a Cause for Concern to Coaching Staff

We haven’t gotten a great deal of information from the Indianapolis Colts first session of OTAs thus far, but we did get coach Frank Reich at the podium on Tuesday.

Reich kept some information close to the vest — and didn’t give many names unprompted like we were hoping for — but, he did touch on some important aspects of the Colts process of getting acclimated to the new schemes.

We go into some of who we saw at some significant positions, despite knowing better than to make much of that with a good amount of players not practicing, but the conversation can now at least be started about what the staff is seeing.

We also touch on the NFL’s new stance on the national anthem, and what the players are permitted to do, and more importantly, what they’re not able to. I talk about what needs to happen to bolster the current roster and why Luck still not throwing isn’t bothering Reich and the coaching staff and why it shouldn’t bother us either.
