The injured teacher, Jason Seaman, is credited with stopping the shooter after tackling the male student. It was truly a brave act by Seaman, who stopped an attack that could have turned out much worse. Because of him, the shooter was able to be apprehended quickly. Both the injured student and Seaman were transported to hospitals in Indianapolis and were last reported to be in critical condition.
