Colts one of several teams named by Vegas as favorites to land Le’Veon Bell

With no long-term deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Le’Veon Bell is expected to be in a different uniform when 2019 season rolls around.

Las Vegas named the Indianapolis Colts as one of the favorites to land the talented running back.

While the Steelers are expected to use as much tread on Bell’s wheels as much as possible, the addition of a player up to Bell’s caliber would go a long way for an offense that is desperate for playmakers.

But the baggage is there. In 2014, Bell — along with LeGarrette Blount — was arrested for driving under the influence after smoking marijuana. As a result, Bell was suspended three games.

One year ago, Bell skipped training camp and the preseason, signing his one-year franchise tender six days before the start of the regular season. Even with the missed time, he racked up 1,291 rushing yards, 655 receiving yards and 11 total touchdowns in 15 games.

Bell is expected to garner $14.54 million during the upcoming season, if he decides to sign his tender.
