The Colts got the morning started with a move at the running back position today. Tion Green, who the Colts waived when they signed WR Cobi Hamilton is back on the roster, while Josh Ferguson has been waived-injured.

Green will now get a chance to make a second impression with the team after being signed less than a week before his prior release. At 6’0” and 220lbs, Green will likely be vying for the short yardage role, but unless he really looks great over the next couple weeks, will be a longshot to make the final roster.
Josh Ferguson was an undrafted free agent who signed with the Colts back in 2016 but has struggled to stay healthy or make a significant impact in his time on the field. He has been an on again, off again member of the Colts roster and practice squad, but it is fair to wonder if after yet another injury setback and given the influx of young running backs, this might be the end of his time with the Colts.
