Chubb, the 6’1” 245lb linebacker was waived by the Titans one week ago, and spent the 2017 season on the Lions’ injured reserve list. His rookie season in 2016 saw him sign with the Rams as an undrafted free agent, before spending time on the practice squads of the Rams, 49ers, and Lions.
Chubb played his college football for Wake Forest, as did fellow Colt K.J. Brent. He started 36 games and finished with 326 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 7 passes defended, a pick six, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries.
Green has been on and off the Colts team twice in in less than two weeks, which is undoubtedly a roller coaster. You have to feel for the guy, but that is the NFL. Green did not play in the most recent preseason game and was unable to make it on the field with the team during his time with the Colts.
