Just another step in the process of building this roster. The Indianapolis Colts released their initial 53-man roster yesterday, but we knew that there would be some additions to the roster today with the waiver period ending at noon ET.
The order of these claims is in the order of the original draft order for the 2018 NFL Draft, which placed the Colts at third. In short, the Colts were getting high dibs on just about whatever they wanted.
Here we’ll update you as any new information becomes available.

Despite the Colts having multiple areas of need after they set their initial roster, the above claims appear to be it in terms of who they were awarded. Now we wait for the corresponding moves which will be updated below.

Practice Squad:
The Indianapolis Colts have officially announced 5 players to their practice squad.

REPORTS:
According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Colts are signing ILB Ahmad Thomas to their practice squad
Per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Carroll Phillips is being signed to the Colts practice squad.
According to Adam Caplan, the Colts are signing Jamil Douglas to their practice squad.
UPDATE: Colts have added running back Jeremy McNichols to the practice squad. The 10-man unit has now been set.
