Poll: Impact plays from Colts vs Eagles

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Philadelphia Eagles Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Colts lost to the Eagles in rather heartbreaking fashion this Sunday. The defense continued its strong play from last week and limited the defending Superbowl Champs to just 20 points. Rookie Darius Leonard and emerging star Margus Hunt (yes Margus Hunt is playing like a madman this season) both continued their dominant play on the season. The offense on the other hand looked very ineffective as they couldn’t put together many sustainable drives or finish in the red zone.

Each week, we will look to break down two of the best or worst plays from the previous game, but we will need your help deciding what plays should be given a closer look as we hope to explain what happened in greater detail than the broadcasters can. Often you’ll hear “how did that guy get so open?” and I hope to be able to answer that question for Colts fans this season.

My vote this week will be for Margus Hunt’s strip sack and recovery fumble in the third quarter which helped the Colts take the lead. The whole defensive front appeared to get quick penetration and I’m very interested in seeing the coverage downfield which led to Carson Wentz holding the ball.

We will start breaking the plays down as soon as the NFL releases the All-22 film on Gamepass. Let us know in the comments what you hope to see!
