It is nearly upon us. The Colts will face their toughest test tomorrow in the form of a road meeting against the number 1 seeded Kansas City Chiefs. At 4:35 tomorrow, all the prognosticating, chest thumping, calculating, and rationalizing stops.
Two teams will take the field and we’ll get a chance to put all the hypotheticals to bed. The Colts enter as the hottest team in the NFL and probably the most well balanced. They are playing efficient team football, are running the ball really well, and have had a defense that has gotten better and better in recent weeks at every level.
They’ll match up against a majorly talented offense in the Chiefs that has scored virtually at will all season long. It will be by far the toughest matchup for Matt Eberflus and this young defense. If they can get a few stops and the offense does its job against a defense they should be able to move the ball well against, the game should be a fun one.
