The biggest news of the day was the return of starting center Ryan Kelly (neck) and safety Clayton Geathers (knee) to practice, and both were full participants. Kelly has been nursing his neck injury since getting hurt against the Giants in Week 16, while Geathers was hurt in the Colts’ game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 15.
Four Colts — wide receivers Ryan Grant (toe) and T.Y. Hilton (ankle), defensive lineman Tyquan Lewis (knee) and tight end Eric Ebron (rest) — missed Wednesday’s practice. Lewis and Grant were injured in the Colts’ regular-season finale against the Titans, and Hilton has been missing mid-week practices for some time despite playing on Sundays.
Linebacker Anthony Walker (shoulder) and running back Jordan Wilkins (knee/ankle) were listed on the injury report despite being full participants on Wednesday. Defensive lineman Jabaal Sheard (knee) and safety Malik Hooker (hip) were both limited for the second day in a row.
A number of wide receivers joined Hilton and Grant on the injury report, as Zach Pascal (knee), Daurice Fountain (ankle) and Dontrelle Inman (shoulder/finger) were all limited participants on Wednesday.
