As we continue with our look at the Indianapolis Colts’ roster, Matt Danely moves on to the running backs today. The Colts currently have Marlon Mack, Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins as young pieces, and had a solid season with three RBs in their first two seasons in the league.
How do the Colts see these three individually as the offseason approaches, and how does their value reflect what the Colts choose to do with the position?
There are a few options in free agency that could improve the overall talent level in the backfield, as well as maintain the target age of the group as well.
Does the draft become an option to upgrade the group, or do the Colts and Chris Ballard like what they’ve got in their young backs?
We’ll find out soon enough, but Matt has some opinions on it as well.
