Defensive tackle Trevon Coley was signed off the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. He was originally signed with the Ravens after going undrafted out of Florida Atlantic in the 2016 NFL Draft. Coley has had stints at Washington and at the Browns before returning to the Ravens on their practice squad.
Coley, 6’1 310lbs, brings much-needed size to the Colts defensive front. Coley will get snaps at nose tackle and 3-technique to begin, according to The Athletic’s Stephen Holder. Coley has been brought in to help shore up the Colts run defensive issues.
Conley will get a look at NT and 3-tech, from what I'm told. We'll see whether he earns some playing time over the next few weeks.
