The Indianapolis Colts had five players on the sideline Wednesday as they prepare for the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday. Though the team left Week 8 largely healthy, they still have some pieces who need to get healthy in order to have a full roster as they did last week.

Several defensive players returned to action in today’s practice, including Denico Autry, Kenny Moore, Jabaal Sheard, and Khari Willis. That bodes well for the Colts defense, but Desir’s absence suggests he may not be ready to return to action.
On the offensive side of the ball, T.Y. Hilton and Eric Ebron both missed practice today and that’s more than a little troubling. Hilton has proven time and again that he is capable of missing practice and still playing well, but it is far from ideal, and if he has to miss, this offense is dramatically hampered.
Tomorrow’s report will be far more telling as far as the likely game time availability. On the road against a tough but under-performing Steelers team will be a tough venue if they are without some of their key guys, so this is a list to watch closely.
