Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Adds: Week 11

NFL: Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Week 10 has come and gone, and we are fast approaching the climax of the fantasy football season.

In other words, it’s put up or shut up time and we need to continue to keep our rosters loaded with talent in order to stay competitive.

What better place to do that than the waiver wire? Let’s look at some names that could help our causes for the title in our respective leagues.

% owned is based on Yahoo Fantasy Football

Shallow and Intermediate Leagues

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Tennessee Titans Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Ryan Tannehill, QB, Tennessee Titans – 32% owned

Considering his notable production, this will be an ideal window to pick up Tannehill, due to the bye week. He has found the end zone at least twice each game since taking over for Mariota and if you are looking for a QB upgrade (particularly in a superflex league), Tannehill is a highly recommended add to your roster.

Cole Beasley, WR, Buffalo Bills – 32% owned

Beasley is a high floor, low ceiling player that is important to have available on your roster. He’s not going to go off on any given week, but he’s going to give you a strong performance from a fill-in perspective. Davante Adams and Tyler Lockett are on byes this week (Lockett is also facing a potentially serious injury) and Beasley might be one of the few dependable receivers available on the market. Grab him and allow him to give you solid production for the week, especially with the Miami Dolphins on tap.

Deep Leagues

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants – 11% owned

It doesn’t look like Sterling Shepard or Evan Engram are coming back any time soon and Daniel Jones has developed a noticeable bond with Slayton either way. In 2 of his last 3 games, Slayton has scored multiple touchdowns and he’s seen 23 targets over that span (14 targets in week 10). Slayton is a boom-or-bust add with an easy stretch of games coming for him during the fantasy playoffs.

Jacob Hollister, TE, Seattle Seahawks – 7% owned

Will Dissly went down, then Luke Willson went down and Jacob Hollister stood up and proved he belongs on fantasy rosters. Hollister has seen 16 targets the last 2 weeks and has scored 3 touchdowns in that span as well. He’s a must-add at the tight end position.

Brian Hill, RB, Atlanta Falcons – 6% owned

Ito Smith has ventured his way onto IR and Devonta Freeman is expected to miss a few weeks with a newly acquired foot sprain. Hill spent most of Sunday afternoon as the Falcons’ lead back in their upset victory over the Saints. He finished the day with 20 rushes for 61 yards and 2 targets for 1 catch resulting in a 10-yard touchdown. He should be your number one priority this week.
