Colts Thursday Injury Report for Week 11: Leonard back as full participant; Colts injury list grows

Yesterday we saw six Indianapolis Colts sitting with injury in for the first practice of the week including Jack Doyle and Mo Alie-Cox. We also received some good news that Jacoby Brissett was a full participant and will — in all likelihood — be suiting up against the Jacksonville Jaguars as their injured quarterback, Nick Foles, will also be returning from a lengthy break.

The Colts do not have a lot of room for injury as their performances over the past several weeks has been terrible, especially offensively. Having their two best blocking tight ends out yesterday is concerning in that the offensive line has been less-than-stellar lately, and with Darius Leonard being limited yesterday, the top defender for the Colts isn’t a good sign either.

Today’s list looks very similar to yesterday with a few exceptions. Doyle was limited today, while Leonard and Clayton Geathers were both full participants. The Colts very much need Leonard and Doyle to progress quickly in order to put out a competitive team Sunday.

There were also some additions to the lists of those who did not participate. Along with T.Y. Hilton, Alie-Cox, Parris Campbell, Pierre Desir, and Jordan Wilkins, Malik Hooker and Ashton Dulin were also non-participants due to injuries.

However, Brissett was again full-go which is very encouraging, but he just might not have anyone to throw the ball to if some of these injuries don’t subside.
