Jacoby Brissett Stat Tracker: Week 11

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts Thomas J. Russo-USA TODAY Sports

Weekly dashboard of QB stats. Thanks to the nflscrapR project and the NFL Next Gen Stats who are the timely sources of this data. Shout-out to Arrowhead Pride’s Ethan Douglas whose weekly advanced analytics articles inspired some of these reports (OK, I stole them). Commentary will be brief but feel free to let me know in the comments that stats aren’t everything.

HOW WELL?

Jacoby Brissett had really bad yardage efficiency but was about league average in the other 3 critical stats. It’s not what I would call a good day but it’s an improvement from his last showing.

TO WHO?

Zach Pascal led in targets but the ball was well distributed.

Ebron is showing good value.

HOW FAR?

Brissett attempted longer passes but mostly connected on the shorter ones.

HOW ACCURATE?

The lack of yardage on short throws was somewhat made up for by better than expected accuracy.

HOW QUICK?

Brissett continued to hold the ball a long time and that likely contributed to the 3 sacks.
