OFFENSE

ROOKIES

Parris Campbell did not play.

Ashton Dulin saw 12 special teams snaps.

SECOND YEAR

Nyheim Hines took 22 of 67 offensive snaps. He carried the ball 9 times for 51 yards and was the only running back not named Jonathan Williams to get an opportunity. It is interesting to note that Jordan Wilkins was healthy enough to take 12 special teams snaps but apparently not enough to carry the ball.

Jordan Wilkins took 1 offensive snap. Unless he was on a pitch-count due for health reasons, Wilkins has fallen completely out of the running back rotation. This is a situation worth monitoring as Wilkins has done some pretty nice things in limited opportunities and is still on a cheap rookie deal.

Zach Pascal remained quiet on Thursday night, even with T.Y. Hilton’s return. In 59 of 67 offensive snaps, Pascal was targeted only once and did not record a reception. This continues a very disappointing stretch for Colts wide outs.

Second-year tight end Mo Alie-Cox took 20 of 67 offensive snaps but was not targeted in the passing game.

DEFENSE

Rock Ya-Sin did not play.

Linebacker Bobby Okereke took 14 of 58 defensive snaps and made 3 tackles and a pass defensed. He also forced a fumble on special teams and was credit for an assisted tackle. Okereke will likely see limited action as long as both Darius Leonard and Anthony Walker are healthy but he has clearly established himself as an important part of the rotation, in certain packages.

Corner Shakial Taylor did not play, was released, and was subsequently claimed off of waivers this week by the Denver Broncos.

Safety Khari Willis did not play.

Corner Marvell Tell took 42 of 58 defensive snaps, which was the most of any Colts defensive rookie. He collected 4 tackles but was a part of a pass defense that gave up too many big plays in a key division loss.

Defensive end Ben Banogu took 14 of 58 defensive snaps and gathered one tackle, which happened to be the only sack the Colts defense registered on the day. While he has still not broken out, nor earned significant playing time in each game, he has shown flashes as an edge rusher on passing downs.

Linebacker E.J. Speed did not play.
