The first half has gone as well as Colts fans should have expected. We probably all hoped for a more effective offense from Jacoby Brissett and the Colts but with the lack of healthy receiving options and an ineffective (at best) kicker having 10 points and being ahead at the half is in line with what I assumed the game would be.
The story of the day rests with a dominate Colts defense led by two forced fumbles and five sacks in a first half that saw a rough second drive for the Titans and then proceeded to not allow anything positive at all.
On the other side of the ball the second half is coming and with the team down to three healthy receivers on the roster the run game will need to get going if we have any hope of seeing our Colts move the ball for the rest of the day.
Don’t expect to see either team pull ahead in a big way in these last 30 minutes. Expect a close game and keep your fingers crossed this game doesn’t come down to a big kick from Adam Vinatieri.
Enjoy the second half!
Go Colts!
