Yesterday the Indianapolis Colts’ injury report looked like it did when we were back in the middle of the season. Seven Colts were non-participants — or would have been in a true practice situation — and another was limited.
At this point in the season it stands to reason that most of the players on most teams are dealing with issues that could potentially keep them out of practice, yet there are some very important names on this week’s list. Quenton Nelson left Week 16’s game with concussion symptoms, and it would seem reasonable that he may miss the team’s finale in Jacksonville Sunday.
We have no real idea as to how long Denico Autry will be out with his that he suffered in Week 15, and much like the team would in the middle, or early stages of the season, they’re not going to risk anything in the final week of the year, especially when the team is only playing for pride at this point.

Today’s report, however, had softened a bit, and somewhat surprisingly as well.
Nelson, for starters, was already back at practice today albeit as a limited participant. Additionally, Darius Leonard and Grover Stewart were both full participants today. All of that is great news for the Colts just in general.
On the other hand, Denico Autry, Kenny Moore II, Al-Quadin Muhammad, Khari Willis, and Quincy Wilson remained non-participants today. Continuing down the negative path on this list, Jordan Wilkins who had fantastic production in Week 16, was added to the injury report with an ankle issue, and was limited today.
