Weekly dashboard of QB stats. Thanks to the nflscrapR project and the NFL Next Gen Stats who are the timely sources of this data. Shout-out to Arrowhead Pride’s Ethan Douglas whose weekly advanced analytics articles inspired some of these reports (OK, I stole them). Commentary will be brief but feel free to let me know in the comments that stats aren’t everything.

Jameis Winston’s numbers have been all over the place but on average he is just . . . average.
Remember when the Colts had 2 good receivers that could share the load?
It’s pretty much the Mike Evans and Chris Godwin show.
Winston likes to throw it far . . . like the 2nd farthest of any QB.
His TD Range is decent enough to hang with the big boys.
Just in case you didn’t catch it the first time, Winston likes to throw it far.
He’s terrible within 10 yards and just meh on 10+ throws.
See that green island in the middle of the field between 11-20 yards? Remember that for the next graph.
Overall, he’s fairly accurate, especially in the 11-20 yard range and I’m guessing that is primarily the middle of the field.
A bit above average on both time to throw and sack rate but very up and down in both.
