2019 Super Bowl Open Thread — Here’s to watching the Rams charge all over the Patriots

It is only a matter of time. At some point in the not-too-distant future, the Patriots reign of NFL supremacy will draw to a close. The careers of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick may both be on borrowed time and a growing group of key Patriots players are starting to move into the latter stages of their careers, some due to age and others to the physical toll their careers have taken.

In many respects, the Rams are on the other end of that spectrum. Young players who are just entering their prime, playing for a young coach who has taken the NFL by storm, are meeting the most experienced playoff team in the league for a chance to win the Super Bowl. In terms of dominant pieces, the Rams have the advantage at numerous positions.

Will that be enough to overcome a severe experience disadvantage?

Let’s hope so.
